THE REBIRTH OF THE SURFACE

The nuclear war known as “Ragnarök” brought human civilization to ruin. One hundred and twenty-seven years later, the wasteland has been divided by radiation into four deadly layers of survival. Surface human settlements, the subterranean guardians of Earth’s will, and radiation-born mutant creatures stand locked in a tense three-way confrontation, where hatred and the struggle for survival are deeply intertwined.

Kane, a ranger; Elena, a radiation scholar; and Sol, an underground engineer who advocates peace, are unexpectedly forced into an alliance by an extinction-level crisis caused by radiation seeping into the depths below. Together, they journey through rusted cities, frozen fortresses, sunken temples, and other pre-war ruins in search of a lost purification technology capable of neutralizing radiation. Along the way, they must battle savage mutants, raiders, and extremist warmongering factions, while also facing a brutal ethical dilemma: the very technology that could save the world may also erase mutant life and the underground people.

When Zargon, the supreme priest of the underground, ignites a war across civilizations, the three race toward the deadly radioactive core zone. There, before the Dreamweaver reveals the truth of the planet’s self-healing process, they use an improved purification device to end the conflict. Centered on destruction and rebirth, hatred and reconciliation, and the price of preserving civilization, the story plants a seed of hope in the scarred wasteland—one in which humans, underground people, and mutant creatures may one day coexist.
